Guessing Game

18 Mar

We went on a little team building shopping adventure in San Diego. We were all given a budget to spend as we wished (Don’t you wish you worked for River’s Edge?!)

Guess who bought what: (Hint: Jill ventured away from Anthropologie for a short while)

CPC San Diego

18 Mar

CPC San Diego was hard work, but so much fun! We enjoyed seeing friends and meeting new ones.We love hearing about how children’s lives are being impacted through the use of the curriculum; it inspires us to pour more and more love and creativity into our work at River’s Edge.

This year we featured a demo science lab to allow customers to try out our science object lessons, and lots of people stopped by to watch things pop, fizzle and transform.

Wish we could have stayed longer in San Diego, the weather was just perfect!

9 Day Roadtrip: Day 2

15 Mar

First stop: the mountain town of Idaho Springs, Colorado, where we discovered a soap shop, a gelato shop, and much more to ooh and aah at. Up and over the mountain to our next stop, Vail, which was blanketed in snow and very pretty.  An hour later and the landscape had changed completely; Utah was warm, stark, and very striking. We stopped and bought some home made fudge from a farm produce store, and then carried on our merry way to St. George, where we spent the night. Day two was fun!
